Borders at the Curve

after our usual eye-shopping at IKEA (where we had delicious poached salmon for lunch), hubby and I headed to the Curve. I have been wanting to visit Borders (the book store) for quite a while. And to my pleasure, it was well worth the trip! i bought three books (The Kite Runner by Khaled Housseini, The Zahir by Paulo Coelho and The Harmony Silk Factory by Tash Aw) for the price of two!! i saved more than 30 bucks! plus i got an additional 15% discount voucher for purchases on my next visit (i'm planning to buy the Queen of Dreams by Chitra Banerjee next):) plenty to smile about:D

At 4pm we headed over to Puchong Prima for our first Hypnobirthing class with Wai Han (@ Mdm Soo). We viewed a couple of hypnobirthing videos and was given the introductory lesson to hypnobirth. we were also introduced to self-hypnosis. and guess what? wai han tells me i'm very hypnotable cuz i take instructions so well. which is all a good thing!

alright then, have to start packing for melacca! yup, i have to monitor two exams there. i'm bringing hubby along to mix work with pleasure. we'll be staying at one those new resort hotels which i personnally booked (if left to the clerks they'd probably book me into a cheap chalet with mosquitoes on board!). so tera!

hi!
Thanks for dropping by to read my humble blog.
mmmm.. I've been going to Borders ever since they opened and so far they've continued the "3 For 2" offer. I'm not really sure but I do hope that they'll continue to do so. So far they only do it for certain genre of books and certain new best sellers.
:) Keep blogging

Angah, my baby sihat alhamdulillah.. but i've been having the itches around my belly lately.
i've already tried a few remedies - calamine lotion, oil, hazeline snow, stretch mark cream, minyak gamat... but it still itches! any sollutions?

Thanks for your encouragement sherin! perhaps u can help with my itch issue too.

the itchiness is due to the skin's streching (is there such a term? eheh) since the baby is getting bigger and bigger. Usually experienced during 1st pregnancy.

I guess there's no remedy for it, I just use baby oil or olive oil especially after a hot bath.

Dear.. no garu garu and such tau, or else, very ugly looking marks will appear after delivery. Gosok2 onlylah using rough cloths like towel.
